NO NAME KITCHEN (NNK) is a grassroot organization where highly motivated volunteers find their space to get first-hand experiences in the field. Coming to NNK projects is an enriching and unique experience but it’s not for anyone. We seek for conscious and responsible individuals who can understand the sensitiveness of being in a delicate and sensitive context. Our programs are mainly focused on supporting the MIGRANT POPULATION throughout the BALKAN ROUTE. We are based in the following country: SERBIA, GREECE, BOSNIA, MONTENEGRO AND SPAIN. NNK field teams are composed by 5 key positions: 1. LOG 2. ADMIN 3. COMMUNICATION 4. HEALTH 5. VIOLENCE REPORT We prioritize people with previous experience but also give the chance to highly motivated entry profiles to join us! Minimum staying: 1 month Maximum staying: 3 months (longer period to be agreed with the HUMAN RESOURCES department). Languages required: ENGLISH (Spanish is mandatory for Spanish project only). NNK is looking for passionate and responsible volunteers to join our field teams. The person is responsible, mature and able to endure complex field situations (illegalities, violence, evictions). She/he is open minded and preferably open to have regular talks with the CARE department for psycho-emotional support. The person empathize not only with the migrant community but also with the local population, free of prejudice and not willing to look for sterile confrontations. The aim is to assure a long-term presence on the field and make sure vulnerable individuals access basic services.
