Summary of the activities carried out by the department or delegation

The external training department team follows research on the fight against hunger and on humanitarian action. The team shares that knowledge with external partners, in cooperation with universities and research centers, contributing to create a nursery of humanitarian workers. To this end, the department oversees several academic courses, as well as the internship and EUAV program.

The intern will support the creation of online open courses (especially the one on Humanitarian logistics) and take part to the development of an EUAV training plan that responds to both volunteers and local mentors training needs.

Objectives of the internship

1. Join a professional team in order to gain new skills.

2. Get to know an international organization.

3. Give support to the external training department.

Activities of the internship

The intern will support the following tasks:

1. Creation and production of the online course on Humanitarian logistics

2. Organization of the training event for EU Aid Volunteers and mentors

3. Design and facilitation of teaching materials and evaluation tools of the training activities

1. Studies: Education science/Social Science student (Sociology, International Relations, Anthropology…) or graphic design/communication student. 

2. Languages: fluent Spanish and good level of English. French highly valued.

3. Valued knowledge in: communication and event planning, informatics, gender approach.
