Position Description European project coordinator and manager for the project: “Tackling and responding to online gender based violence through a pioneering e-helpline for reporting GBV online and empowering women, girls and LGBTIQ+ persons and professionals”. Calala Women’s Fund is looking for a Project Manager to coordinate, manage, evaluate and report a 2 year project, funded by Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme, on online violence against women. This European project is led in partnership with 4 organizations: Calala, the lead orgnization, Fundació SURT, Alia/Donestech and the University of Barcelona. The total budget for this project is 522.898,30 euros starting on February 1st, 2021. Essential Functions The project manager will be in charge of the general management of the project and also will execute advocacy and communication activities, with a strong focus on European replicability, added value, knowledge exchange and lessons learned. The project manager will lead the report and evaluation process and manage the relationship with the European Comission and with the other project partners. Other functions - Coordination of an 18-month project, funded by the Catalan Development Cooperation Agency (ACCD), focused on online violence against feminist activists with an 85.000 euros budget. - Coordination of the partnership and the execution of Calala activities, mainly related to communication and advocacy work, research and the organisation of a journalism forum. - Main contact for the project with the ACCD. - Coordination of the final technical and financial report. Other responsibilities The project manager will be part of the Programmes team of Calala, formed by a Programmes Director and 3 more programme managers. She can develop activities asked by the Programme Director. |
Perfil/Requisitos |
Qualifications and Experience Essentials 5 years-experience managing EU projects. Post-degree studies or experience in Gender and/or Human Rights.

The incorporation date will be February 1st. This is a full time position, 37,5 hours a week, the salary is 24.000 euros per year in 13 payments. |
