Today, once again, our team is growing! We’re looking for a Media Content Manager to join our Storytelling team, a key pillar of The Wellbeing Project!
We are looking for someone to join our Storytelling team, that has 2-4 years of experience with marketing event management and coordination. We’re looking for someone who has a keen passion for social change, has a deep interest in personal work. We are looking for someone who is a native level English speaker and writer, organized, detail-oriented and can work independently and in a fast paced environment. Finally, someone who is at the same time strongly entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented and collaborative.
SKILLS
We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
University degree: most likely communications, journalism, marketing or business with a relevant specialization. Work experience: 2-4 years in journalism/ digital marketing/ media management. Social media and web management expertise: at least 2 years experience managing Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Websites. Structured, dependable and reliable: you are thorough, you can keep deadlines, and you are very well organized (nothing falls throughout the cracks but you are also able to adapt to last minute or unexpected changes/requirements). Detail-oriented and thorough: careful not to miss small pieces. Good communicator: you are people-oriented and communicating with respect, benevolence, clarity, sensitivity, as well as within the team being able to express your needs when they arise with openness and authenticity. You are flexible and like to be in a fast pace and ever changing environment, problem-solving, proactive, responsive and thinking beyond.
Good to have:
Experience with: Wordpress (or/and other backend management softwares), Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator and video editing tools. Native English.
Good to have but not essential:
French and Spanish. Experience in the social sector. Experience in making, producing and editing video.
TASKS
You’ll be responsible for managing the content and media which includes the following tasks:
Contribute to the implementation of the communication strategy through the creation of web content and multimedia. Support the Storytelling team Web management via wordpress visual composer to assure content rotation and audience exponential reach. Research, content creation and editorial oversight through our website Plan, develop and manage digital interactions, presence and activity across digital channels to increase brand exposure and strengthen project’s image. Create and implement social media optimization and social media marketing campaigns across social media platforms Keep up to date on social media trends and best practices In collaboration with the Storytelling team, assist with the creation and publishing of different projects Write excellent copy that’s clever but accessible in both long form and for a tweet. Ensure coherence between storytelling objectives and content distribution. Ability to identify story opportunities and create a truly compelling content that will resonate with our target audience.

Salary is appropriate to the social sector. Compensation also includes a wellbeing stipend.
