Buscamos trabajadores humanitarios bilingües (EN/ES) con amplia experiencia en gestión de proyectos humanitarios para apoyar las tutorías de cursos de cooperación. The desired profile is a deployed humanitarian worker, who likes learning and teaching, and with extra time for tutoring. CANDIDATES HAVE TO BE EXPERTS ON ONE OR SEVERAL OF THE FOLLOWING TOPICS: - Project management and implementation, including management of offices in the field. - Sectors of humanitarian intervention: WASH, Food Security, Shelter, Protection, Advocacy... - Ethics and international legal framework in humanitarian work (Human Rights, International Humanitarian Law, Refugee Law, Disaster legal framework) - Gender and cross cutting approaches. - Disasters and risk management. La carga de trabajo estimada es de entre 5 y 10 horas a la semana que se emplearían en estas ACTIVIDADES: - Review course contents to be familiar with it. - Forum participation applying your field experience: posting new discussions, encouraging students' participation and giving feedback to open discussions. - Suggest specific updates on courses contents. - Give feedback to specific assignments. OFRECEMOS: - Contratación por orden de compra de periodos mensuales. - Workload: Between 5 to 10 hours weekly. - Monthly fee: 300 euros. - Training for E-learning Trainers (T4ET). La inclusión en el roster, o la participación en el curso T4ET es sólo una expresión de interés sin efecto legal que no implica contrato alguno entre las partes hasta la aceptación de una orden de compra por las partes. |
| Perfil/Requisitos |
ESSENTIAL - Good written and spoken English and Spanish. - At least 5 years field management experience in humanitarian aid programmes in at least 3 different countries, preferably with non-government organizations. - Good understanding of relevant humanitarian and policy issues. - Specific NGO management training received - Sound knowledge and ability to apply NGO/Red Cross Code of Conduct, the People in Aid Code, SPHERE and other regulatory codes. - A proven record of effective programme and people management. - Proven numeracy and financial management skills as well as proven proposal and report writing skills. - Good communication skills. - High level of self-awareness and self-management. DESIRABLE - French. - Experience of designing and delivering training and learning programmes. - Be currently working in project management. - Knowledge and experience with disaster risk reduction and preparedness issues. - Experience in leading Rapid Needs Assessments and making relevant recommendations for starting up emergency responses. - Theoretical knowledge and practical experience with capacity building activities, including capacity gap assessments, designing and implementing capacity building activities, coaching and mentoring. - Experience in working in insecure environments and managing team security. - Ability to take the initiative and make decisions with limited support in fast moving environments |
