GENERAL CONTEXT
Médecins Sans Frontières is an international independent medical-humanitarian organization, which offers assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, creed or political affiliation.
The MSF movement is built around five operational directorates supported by 23 sections and offices worldwide. MSF OCBA is one of those directorates. The operations are implemented by field teams and the mission coordination teams; together with the organizational units based in Barcelona, Athens and Nairobi. The field operations are guided and supported by 4 Operational Cells, the Emergency Unit and other departments supporting operations, including the Human Resources Department.
JOB GENERAL OBJECTIVE AND CONTEXT
The candidate chosen will give support to the unit during all the selection processes. He/She will mainly focus on field recruitment processes but will also collaborate on headquarter (HQ) positions.
The internship will report to the Recruitment Coordinator and will work (depending on topic) with all the members of the team (recruiters).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Although, we will prioritize initiatives depending on importance and workload of the position, the main tasks to be in charge of during the scholarship are:
In terms of Recruitment (90% of the time)
• Help recruiters in the publication of job offers for both field and HQ positions
• Manage reception of applications for HQ positions
• Participate in designing active recruitment initiatives when needed
• Screen the CV’s of the candidates sending their application and maintain database updated
• Support the team in the organization of assessment centers
• Run reports in SAP
• Run reports to HR Coordinators about National Staff who have applied for expatriation process
In terms of Development & Profile Management (10% of the time)
• Entering CVs in SAP on request of Profile Mgrs
• Other administrative support needed by the team
SELECTION CRITERIA
Education and experience
• Currently studying Human Resources, Psychology or similar branches
• Interest for the Humanitarian Action sector
• Good level of Excel
• Interest in Recruitment
• Fluent in English & Spanish. French will be highly considered.

CONDITIONS
• Based in Barcelona MSF Spain Headquarters
• 20h/ week (4h/day)
• Duration: 6 months
• Conditions will be according to MSF internal “Internship policy”, and will be formalized into an “Agreement” signed between MSF and the University detailing duties and obligations of each party.
• Support package: € 800 / month based on a 40-hours working week (based on the MSF OCBA Internship Policy).
• Starting date: 3rd September 2018
