The Fight Infectious Disease Foundation, a non-profit research organization, is looking for a:

Project Manager (Research unit Long Covid)

Main responsibilities and duties:

• Pre-award: Detect, communicate and explore funding opportunities according to the researchers’ priority areas.


• Proposal Management: Assist in writing the management sectin of project proposals where relevant and coordinate contributions from other partners regarding use of resources, budget, project governance etc. Contribute to other sections of the proposal where needed. Ensure that administrative requirements f proposals are met (eligibility…).


• Contract Management: Active participation in the negotiation, drafting and signing process of contracts.


• Post award and Project Coordination: Cordinate among the different team members and partners involved in the projects to ensure appropriate implementation. Monitor progress of the tasks according to stablish chronograms to ensure that the deliverables and milestones of the project are completed. Track project costs in order to meet the budget and correctly justify it expenses.


• Prepare and submit high quality peridic reports on time.


• Organize and participate in team meetings and cnsortium events.


• Prvide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.


• Ensure cmpliance with contractual obligations and help to resolve possible nuances between partners.

Requirements:

• International experience in research project management in the health area.


• Passionate about the work of the long-covid unit and the mission of the foundation.


• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.


• Proficiency level in English. Fluency in other languages will be a plus.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Good team player, problem-solver and customer-oriented.


• High self-organizing capacity, ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects and to prioritize tasks with tight deadlines Used to working autonomously and taking initiative.


• Problem solving: troubleshooting, problem/issue identification, analysis


• Knowledge of national and international funding programs for health research projects will be an asset (such as Instituto Carlos III related calls, MINECO funding calls or Horizon Europe scheme).


• Good skills in word processing, spreadsheets and presentation applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint or equivalents).

Labor conditions: Site at Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol, Badalona. Full time contract.
